portrait or landscape

I had a guy ask me about mounting a LCD TV the other day. He wanted to know if there was a way to make it rotate so he could use it in portrait or landscape mode. I thought about it and started to tell him that I was sure it could be done, then I thought, "Why in the world would you want to?" So I asked him why. He said he liked to look at his pictures from his camera on the TV but was tired of twisting his head around to see the pictures he'd taken with the camera turned up. I said "Well, all right then...."        I don't figure he needed to be messing with mounting a LCD TV if he can't rotate his pictures.
